Dave, I agree with your position, but if the ‘free’ was positioned properly it’s a good concept. Providing a method of ‘tasting’ the product with no cost allows the consuner to get comfortable prior to making a commitment. Although, I see this being a play for the SMB crowd, not the enterprise.
